Restoring Heritage Cathedral for St Mary’s

St Mary's Cathedral was initially opened in 1865 and is situated at Victoria Square in Perth. Over the years, the Cathedral has undergone multiple extensions and renovations, although elements of the original structure and architecture still contribute to its current appearance.

There are several identified issues with the Cathedral that necessitate attention. These issues encompass ongoing maintenance needs, natural deterioration of the building over time, and the requirement to update systems in line with modern technology.

Any modifications carried out on the building must carefully consider the site's heritage significance while ensuring the continued functionality of the space and preserving its overall aesthetic appeal.

Shape Management was appointed to oversee the assessment and scoping of the rectification works for the program of planned renovations.
